Effectively Using SATPrepHub as a SAT instructor

1.  Registration

On the homepage, click Register and then click Educator.  As an educator, you can assign tests to your students and monitor their progress.

 

2.  Dashboard

Click on the Overview tab on the sidebar to see students, classes, and tokens.

 

 

Invite students to your classes by clicking on Invite Students on the bottom right corner.

○     Students must accept the invite by clicking a link in their email.

 

3.  Tokens

Under the Purchase Tokens tab, you can purchase different types of tokens.

 

You must have available tokens to administer tests to your students. Your purchased tokens can be found in the Available Tokens section of the page.

 

 

Every time you assign one practice test to a student, your available tokens will decrease by one token.

 

 

4.  Creating Classes and Adding Students

In the Classes tab, you can create classes and add students.

 

 

Clicking on the plus sign next to the class size will allow you to add invited students to your class.  Students must accept the invitation before you can add them to a class.

 

 

 

 

5.  Assign Tests

In the Tests tab, you can find a list of tests to assign to your students.

 

Choose which classes to assign the test to and set deadlines. You can assign tests to the entire class or to specific students in your classes. You can also enforce strict test timing to better simulate students’ experience for the actual dSAT.

 

 

6.  Class Progress Monitoring

To see students and their practice tests (pending and completed), click on the class size.

 

 

Go to the Tests tab to see performance and analytics.

Analytics will show specific questions that students answered correctly, answered incorrectly, or omitted. Analytics also display the average total score as well as the sub-scores.

Performance section shows the Reading/Writing and Math scores, as well as deltas. This will let you see individual student performance, improvement, and progress.
